Research into stammering in the workplace
Irish Stammering Association has been approached by Dawn Tomalin (Student Speech and Language Therapist) for participants to take part in her research:
I am a final year university student studying speech and language therapy. I have an interest in stammering and hope to specialise in this area once qualified. As part of my degree I am conducting a research project looking at the “attitudes and feelings of people who stammer regarding their experiences in the workplace”.
I am looking for people who are currently working or have worked in the past to complete a short questionnaire to help me with my research. All of the information will be confidential and the questionnaire shall only be used for the purpose of this investigation. Your answers given will only be read by me and a university tutor. If you are interested in volunteering or would just like more information please email me at dawn_tomalin@hotmail.co.uk and I will send you an extra participant information sheet.
Many thanks
Dawn Tomalin
