Research study looking for participants

Hilary McDonagh, a post graduate student at Institute of Technology Sligo is carrying out a research study on the link between stammering and eye movements. She aims to investigate the effectiveness of using your eye movements to help manage your stammer.

Due to restrictions as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, all assessments and instructions will occur online, via Zoom.

If you choose to take part in the study you will be required to have three online stammering severity assessments (two test periods for each assessment). In addition, you will be asked to commit to practicing the eye movement technique for 10 minutes twice a day for five weeks.

For more information on the study and to register your interest in taking part, please contact Hilary.McDonagh@mail.itsligo.ie

Research is funded by the Irish Research Council ref. EBPPG/2019/135

(Please note: these are external academic studies by research institutions on the island of Ireland and further afield that have asked Irish Stammering Association to promote them. They are not affiliated with Irish Stammering Association).
