The Irish Stammering Association Midlands support group meets in on Tuesday, 3rd April 2012, 8pm in the Maldron Hotel, Portlaoise, Co. Laois.
The ISA self-help groups provides valuable emotional and social support for people who stutter, in a non-judgemental, relaxed environment. The burden of stuttering can be considerable, and you don’t need to carry this alone. Also a great way to make new friends!
We know it can be hard to come into a room of strangers, but we are all in the same boat and we know how it feels. So if you stammer or know someone who stammers and want more information we’d be delighted to meet you.
Please note this group will be for anyone over 18 years of age.
Our next family event will be Caint gan Eagla in Dublin on April 28th
People who stammer are individuals. We all have our own thoughts about stammering, and we have all had our own unique experiences of being a person who stammers.
